About the Role
The main purpose of the Account Coordinator position is to support the broader Account Management team in delivering all retainer tasks and projects on time and within budget.
The Account Coordinator will field client queries, draft briefs, work closely with other Account Managers, and schedule work for designers and developers to ensure a smooth journey is experienced by all. This fast-paced role will manage the end-to-end flow of work and schedule for the successful delivery of multiple simultaneous tasks/projects across the allocated portfolio of work.
The Account Coordinator role will deliver an exceptional customer experience by managing client expectations, proactively solving problems, and being an A+ communicator.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management Excellence
Support project execution and excellence through:
Setup of project workspaces as per the approved project scope.
Create project timelines and resource planning.
Create project tasks that contain the required information for successful execution and delivery to the client.
Schedule tasks and move them through the various stages of development.
Reschedule tasks when required.
Assist Senior Account Management team with Resource Planning.
Daily review of the budget, timeline, and task progress for all assigned projects to identify any issues.
Communicate any project or client-related issues with relevant team members.
Submit jobs to Senior Account Manager for invoicing when appropriate.
Manage the account processes and not individual people.
Effectively draft project documentation and reports to assist the Senior Team.
Assist senior members of the Accounts/Project Management team with ad hoc tasks when required.
Keep clients informed about the progress of their project.
Report any concerns to Senior Account Manager/s.
Digital Marketing Excellence
Manage content plans and calendars.
Research various industries and topics to support the drafting of content.
Assist with producing content for our agency marketing.
Assist the senior team to implement, monitor, and optimise digital campaigns across a range of platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Bing Ads, and LinkedIn Advertising.
Website updates (text, image, video) via content management systems.
Implement SEO practices when actioning website content updates.
Coordinate with clients to gather all required assets and content for campaigns.
Collate data for client reports and analysis by senior team members.
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)
Exercise a duty of care to ensure actions do not negatively impact the health and/or safety of others or self in the workplace.
Ensure that anything provided for health and safety is not willfully or recklessly interfered with or misused.
Ensure compliance with any of the company's WHS policies, procedures, and any reasonable instruction is given by the company.
Position Prerequisites
At least two years of experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in a digital marketing agency or eCommerce.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and any project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, etc.).
Experience in website CMS like Shopify, WordPress, etc. is nice to have.
Basic digital marketing skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, time, and task management skills.
Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to solving problems.
High-achieving team player who thrives on delivering outstanding results.
