Director of Performance Readiness, Operations Customer Service & Support
About the Role
In this opportunity as Director of Performance Readiness, you will:
Work with regional business managers to identify learning needs and priorities for the business group, allocate resource & deliver customer requirements using Global Learning processes.
Identify learning implications of business decisions for the business on an ongoing basis.
Owns the solution of learning needs - Typically accountable for providing all development needs for a specific function or operations management and meeting learning needs across a broad base; Leads projects and oversees projects of team.
Sets and agrees targets, plans and measures for the learning team to support the business unit's objectives.
Monitors quality of learning activities delivered/supplied to business users to ensure satisfaction.
Business roles act as brokers to source best solutions to business unit's learning and development needs from learning centre, global specialist learning team & external suppliers. Typically works as part of management team in business unit.
Provides comprehensive learning advice & expertise to a business unit.
Encourages adoption of industry best practice.
Proactively coach and champion learning.
Defines resource requirements in line with strategy & plans.
Recommends use of internal/external suppliers; Sources external suppliers.
Works closely with other learning managers so that business and central learning resources support each other in achieving business objectives.
Provides leadership, guidance and support in the development of more junior members of the team.
