Job Brief
The Development Specialist (MuleSoft) works with all functions of Pepper to design, build and support digital journeys for customers and business stakeholders. They must have experience across product management processes, Agile Delivery, DevOps, as well as Web Development practises. The role is going to be on a dayshift, work-from-home set-up initially, and will be located in BGC, Taguig when the quarantine restrcitions are lifted.
Job Description
The API Development & Support Specialist will have experience building integration solutions including user story creation, integration design, automation components and integration solutions as a core capability. They will drive the adoption of standards, best practices and guidelines with respect to API development and automation.
Analyze and design workflows across multiple systems and produce supporting documentation
Work on the full lifecycle of a product life-cycle including Story building, Design, Peer Programming, show casing, automated testing and automated delivery
Participate and contribute to workflow-driven development on and between various systems Understand and analyze the data formats between interoperable systems
Understand development security requirements and workflow-level security policies
Build, maintain and automate test scripts
Actively contribute to build stronger communities of practise
Actively look to improve technical and agile behaviours
Work closely with External Vendors and squads to deliver value sprint on sprint
Ensure that the developed services adhere to Pepper architectural practices and guidelines
Contribute to common/reusable components/frameworks and templates that facilitates consistent patterns and saves development efforts
Ensure that adequate security, exception handling, logging monitoring and notification features are implemented.
Requirements
3+ years of integration development and support experience
1 year of experience in MuleSoft
Ability to support, troubleshoot, deployment and tuning automation / integration
Experience using J2EE, XML, XSLT, JMS, JSON, SQL, SOA, etc
Solid understanding of integration design patterns and best practices
Experience with data transformation involving Common Message Models, including XML, JSON, CSV or fixed-width
Experience with custom SDLC processes such as code versioning, packaging, test driven development (TDD), continuous integration, test automation, code analysis, and code quality metrics
Experience using Java, Ajax and REST APIs
Knowledge in ITIL, IT Service, Problem & Change Management
