Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a Holdings Company based in Taguig, Philippines. Our reputable client is currently looking for a Deputy Chief Financial Controller, a licensed CPA who have background in handling group of 10 or more companies.
Job Overview:
The Deputy Chief Finance Officer is primarily responsible for assisting the Chief Finance Officer in performing his / her function. He / She coordinates with all the member companies and ensures that the mandate of the Chief Finance Officer is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities:
Cascades and monitors the implementation of the group-wide financial strategy.
Assists in monitoring the financial management of each member company through the Division Controllers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of implementation.
Assists the Chief Finance Officer in reviewing annual operating budgets of all member companies vis a vis Business Plan.
Assists the Chief Finance Officer in overseeing growth of investments and raising of funds for new businesses.
Analyses economic and industry trends affecting the group, and recommends appropriate strategic responses.
Monitors the group's statutory and tax compliance. Ensures that exposures are minimized.
Regularly evaluates group-wide controls and structures that were established to mitigate risks and protect assets of the group.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree
Certified Public Accountant
At least 10 years' experience in an Accounting or Finance related function, 5 years of which in a Senior Management role
Preferably with background in handling group of 10 or more companies
