Job Description:
Position Summary Functional Title: Operations Officer
Primary Purpose Responsible for the processing and settlement of payments coursed thru DB Manila
Typical Duties
Processes payments (remittances, customs duties, payroll, tax payments, etc) and other related activities thru various payment channels
Performs reconciliations related to the assigned product operations (Nostros, W/A, sundries and all related accounts)
Investigates account breaks and provides supporting documents for account substantiation and break resolution
Generates and retrieves data from different systems required for reporting - MIS and Regulatory Reporting
Ensures compliance of all procedures, such as Key Operating Procedures, Limits of Authority, etc
Escalate issues /concerns encountered with the service provider or any settlement or control issues noted
Prepares day-in-a-day reporting on a daily basis for escalation and control monitoring
Coordinates with Service Center (NOC) on operational issues and concerns for outsourced activities
Supervision Received Under the supervision of Payments and Clearing Head
Experience Required
Proven experience in payments/remittance gained from banking, financial services and BPO industry is highly preferred.
