WHAT IS AN ACCOUNTANT Our awesome client, a leading recruitment company based in Australia is looking for an ACCOUNTANT to be part of their finance team. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting Balance Sheet Reconciliations Calculating month-end accruals Preparation of monthly accounts across multiple entities Reporting to International parent entity Assistance with the preparation and lodgement of BAS Statements, payroll tax & superannuation Assistance with annual statutory reporting requirements Ad Hoc Management reporting Cost Analysis Budgeting & Forecasting Assistance with the preparation of annual budgets Weekly forecast reporting Variance analysis Operational Tasks Bank and credit card reconciliations Accounts payable Accounts receivable Various ad-hoc reporting and analysis Cost control Project work System & process improvement Assistance with payroll & accounts receivable WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Degree qualified Advanced Excel Skills Experience with Xero accounting preferable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3 years' experience in a similar role
