Job overview:
 
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Specialist who will report to our clients Head of Revenue & Sales Operations (HRSO). This crucial role maintains the integrity of lead data, directly impacting sales and marketing efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong experience with CRM systems (specifically HubSpot) and a proven track record in data management and lead enrichment. This hands-on role requires ensuring data is accurate, complete, and action-ready.
 
Responsibilities:
 
The Data Specialist will be responsible for the following key areas:
 
1. Lead Data Audit and Cleanup
Audit and clean existing lead data in HubSpot for accuracy and adherence to standards.
Update leads by applying specific "Market" and "Competitor" property data and standardizing fields.
Systematically de-duplicate and merge company/contact records using HubSpot tools or third-party solutions to ensure a single source of truth.
2. New Lead Sourcing and Ingestion
Lead Sourcing: Following a schedule, proactively source new prospect leads from platforms, such as BuiltWith, based on criteria defined by the HRSO.
Data Enrichment and Preparation: Enrich newly sourced leads using a variety of tools to ensure all necessary contact, company, and firmographic details are captured and validated.
HubSpot Upload: Prepare and upload enriched lead lists into HubSpot, ensuring correct formatting, de-duplication, and mapping to appropriate properties and lists.
3. Ad-hoc Enrichment and Data Loading
On-Demand Enrichment: Perform ad-hoc data enrichment requests from sales teams, often involving large spreadsheets, leveraging tools such as SeamlessAI or ZoomInfo.
Data Validation and Loading: Validate the enriched data for accuracy and consistency before performing bulk or individual uploads into the HubSpot CRM.
4. Performing other audits and tasks as assigned by the HRSO
 
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on CRM experience. HubSpot is a major plus, but we are open to experts in similar platforms who can pivot quickly.
Expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning).
Experience with Lead Enrichment tools (BuiltWith, SeamlessAI, ZoomInfo preferred; or equivalents like Apollo/Lusha).
Expertise in ensuring all team members are working from the same accurate data set.
Ability to explain data logic to Sales and Marketing stakeholders.
