The Tribe Data Management is creating a team within ING Business Shared Services - Manila to build a Robust Data Operations for the Wholesale Data Management and Analytics Platform. The team will cooperate closely with the Wholesale CDO Offices globally.
The Data Governance Professional is a key role for Wholesale Data Management. The Data Governance Professional is responsible for alignment with the Global framework for Data Governance in his / her domain and for its implementation in order to fulfill the required Data Management capabilities. He / she would oversee, control and enforce the ING Data Governance framework which includes exercise of authority and control over the management of Data assets. He / she shall also facilitate the establishment of appropriate communication mediums to shift ING's culture to be more Data driven.
As WB Data Governance Professional, you will set up and maintain Data Governance processes and assist Data Management roles (such as Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Definition Owners, Data Governance Owner, etc.) as expert on Data Governance topics. The role also involves being informed and consulted for various Data Management processes.
If you are good at:
Defining, communicating and driving execution of Data Governance principles and standards
Setting and enforcing policies related to Data and Metadata Management, access, usage, security and quality of the Robust Data Operations for the Wholesale Data Management and Analytics Platform through clarification and communication of rules, polices and standards for Data exchange between relevant parties in accordance with internal and external compliance requirements and standards
Determining the state of Data Capabilities in the Wholesale domain monitoring and analyzing ongoing challenges / risks and recommending possible solutions and improvements
Monitoring the performance and interactions between the relevant parties in the Data Management processes
Monitoring / Collaborate whether the Data Owners and Data Stewards are performing their duties in accordance with pre-agreed principles for Data Management to understand their data, their data needs and business context
Data Mapping and Data Profiling skills
Interact as part of a squad with a clear purpose, that delivers business value towards our consumers on the Data Management Platform
If you are:
A professional and mature individual demonstrating the following:
Bachelor's Degree holder in areas of Information Technology, Business Management, Finance or Accounting or any related field
Self-starter with a good ability to work in a global team across various locations
Interested in understanding Data Governance principles and concepts in alignment with the organizational strategy
Open in consultative mindset including Data Management and how it operates on business function
Result-oriented with an ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
Design Thinking, which enables big-picture view into details required for in-depth analyses
Hands-on mentality in a data-driven setting
Fosters trust and sets expectation that differences are embraced within the Tribe
If you can:
Work on Information Lifecycle Management, Data Modelling, Master Data Management and Business Audits and requirements gathering
Display Integral, cross-domain knowledge, strong relationship management with prior experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team
Communicate and explain well in a clear & concise manner (Verbal and written)
Maintain transparency, flexibility and be motivated to make every day a success
