We are looking for a software engineer with data engineer experience especially using Spark to join our team of innovative software and data engineers.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data and generate reports for the quality of the different services of RingCentral
Develop data pipelines for gathering data from various sources
Improve and write scripts for report generation
Add visualizations to the reports
Develop automation for generating of reports
Requirements:
Mid to senior level software engineer or data engineer
At least 3 years of work experience
Desire and passion for innovation, working on new products and ideas to create proof of concept solutions for continuous improvement
Assertiveness and proactivity in problem-solving and coming up with new ideas
Capability to adapt and learn new technologies as needed
Excellent work ethic and ability to work & collaborate with an Agile team
Good communication, requirement analysis, and documentation skills
Attention to details
Skills in correlating data and producing statistics
Programming skills using Python
ETL programing Skills using Spark
Linux system administration skills
Experiences in the following specific areas are nice to have:
Kibana
Hadoop
Elastichsearch
