Our US-based client is a leading provider of managed physical medicine in the United States, is currently looking for Customer Service Professional who will successfully obtain prior authorization from Adjusters/Nurse Case Managers and surgical clearance from Medical Practitioners for injured patients.
The role also entails lending support, guidance and positivity toward all patients and clients alike while using the collaborative power of team work to achieve common goals and maintain desired results.
The ideal Customer Service Professional is someone who strives to be empathetic and passionate in their work with patients while accomplishing their objectives for the success of the business.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain authorization from adjusters/nurse case managers following MedRisk's workflow through phone calls and alternated with email communication.
Seek surgical clearance either from MD or patient following MedRisk's workflow through phone calls or fax.
Review patient information and consult with Case Management for determination if a new case needs to be initiated or to follow up on an existing case.
Constant communication with adjusters and nurse case managers regarding updates on patient's care status in a timely manner.
Validate new case data to ensure accurate information in the system and to avoid duplication.
Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Provide the best customer service to all callers
Comply with HIPAA and URAC guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a college degree in any field (Nursing/PT/OT degree is a plus)
Must have experience in BPO industry
Possess impeccable customer service skills with 1-2 years of experience
Experience with outbound calls preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail orientated and strong data entry skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and general computer literacy, working with dual screens
Time management and strong organizational skills required
Willing to work any assigned shift during a work week in Mandaluyong City
