As a Costing Specialist, YOU are expected to:
Ensure costing data accuracy and policy compliance
Check thoroughly on actual monthly costing results and analyze the variances between actual and standard cost
Work with operations to drive for process cost improvement
Calculate standard cost in accordance with the corporate policies and related requirements
Work with related project team/functions or operations to drive the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting operation & closing in the area of project or costing
Prepare monthly costing reports to the management on a timely basis, including revenue, LGM, material cost, DL/VOH and FOH analysis
Check from time to time if the expenditures and revenues are properly classified in accounting system, researches and analyzes transactions to resolve any issues / problems
Initiate & drive annual project or cost budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
Assist the business decision in the optimization of product mix profitability and liaison with other team to coordinate with business, operation and functional managers to prepare for business cases and/or investment recommendations
Requirements
Degree in Bachelor of Science and Accountancy
Preferably CPA
Experienced in production/ manufacturing industry
Knowledgeable on SAP implementation and operation experience
With Internal or external audit experience
