COST ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
 
Job Description
 
The Accounting Specialist for Cost Accounting Department, is an individual contributor role who shall assist the Accounting Manager by performing highly specialized managerial accounting work to gather, organize, and arrange cost data into useful information or reports and provide insights therein.
 
This position is expected to:
Financial Analysis: Assisting the Accounting Manager - Cost Accounting Department on data gathering, organizing, and summarizing into cost reports. It is expected that the specialist will be able to give initial insights from the reports.
Compliance: Verifies compliance's on internal controls applicable to activities with manufacturing costs implications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Prospective candidates are required to have the following minimum requirements:
Graduate of Accounting, Finance or similar finance related disciplines
A Professional Regulation Commission Certified Public Accountant & Certifications from other financial and auditing entities are recognized advantages.
Knowledge of Philippine Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is a recognized advantage.
With at least 2 years of solid business work experience in Cost Accounting with at least 1 year of which in specialist/analyst role. Preferably with past experiences from manufacturing firms.
Advanced and demonstrated knowledge of data processing and analytics and its application for the company
High Proficiency in MS Office specially Microsoft Excel, Word and Point.
Good command of English Language in both written and oral communication.
A decent background in product cost movement in ERP systems.
