Job Description
We expect you to perform the following for IQ EQ, and its great People!
Development and/or alignment, where necessary, of local compliance policies and procedures for use/reference by IQ-EQ employees, including government stakeholders to ensure that IQ-EQ Philippines compliance is achieved
Development, documentation, and maintenance of a system of controls reasonably designed to achieve and oversee compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; including reporting to the relevant Board(s) and to Group on the overall state of compliance across the Unit(s)
Effective monitoring and oversight of day to day internal and external compliance activities throughout the business
Maintain a level of expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and related operational risk areas of focus, including a strong understanding of current industry trends and practices, effective risk measurement and management practices and emerging concerns
Analyse and report on key legal/compliance and related operational risk metrics that support an overall assessment of legal and compliance risk and risk management practices
Primary counsel or liaison with Labour lawyers in matters relating to Labour concerns and matters such as but not limited to conciliatory and mediation, labour relations cases, etc, including periodic review of contracts with internal stakeholders and external vendors

The MUSTs!
Our requirement calls for someone with Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor degree
With strong general understanding of compliance systems or programs and identifying compliance risks
An expert on data privacy, anti-bribery, and corruption, anti-money laundering, and the like
Has excellent working knowledge of the local legislative and regulatory framework, and of dealing with relevant regulators.
With excellent written & verbal communications, organizational & interpersonal skills
