Oversees the firm's financial activities and capital investment decisions and is primarily focused on maximizing shareholder value through long-term and short-term financial planning and implementation of various strategies.
Investment, capital budgeting and future cash flow estimates from proposed projects. Provide investment advice, tactics and recommendations.
Capital financing through debt, equity or both.
Responsible for Corporate development for identifying and securing mergers and acquisition deals.
Financial Planning and Analysis (budgeting, forecasting, key performance metrics).
Financial modelling and valuations to predict outcomes.
Support in targeting and winning business.
Liaise with all parties involved in transactions and assist in negotiations.
Contribute to competitive bid proposals and formal presentations.
Liaise with accountants, lawyers, financial experts and regulatory bodies.
Responsible for ensuring company's capital structure and financial position are optimized.
Cash management (short-term financial management )
Investment banking.
Bank relations (line of credits, money market securities, FX trades). Negotiate and structure financial details.
Assess and predict financial risks and returns.
