Background:
We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create really good content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and must be able to convert it into sales.
Responsibilities:
Create story ideas
Write articles for magazines
Edit articles from contributors
Produce the publication each month
Write articles for clients
Proofread, edit and rewrite articles to meet publication standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field.
Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
Working knowledge of content management systems.
Strong writing, editing and interpersonal skills
Ability to nurture long term relationships with key publication influencers
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
Natural leader who displays strong decision making skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently as part of the team
Ability to understand and influence target audiences
Excellent writing and editing skills
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics
Excellent English language skill including grammar, writing, speaking, and research skills
Knowledge of keyword research using Google AdWord is a plus
Detail-oriented and a high level of accuracy in work product
Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
Willing to adopt a fast-paced working environment
Good time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and meticulously
Very good computer skills; computer literate
Good organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work well under pressure
