JOB SUMMARY:
Highly visible role that combines content strategy, storytelling and communications. World-class writer experience in many forms of communication from whitepapers to website, emails to executive speeches and can formulate creative strategies to attract our target buyers, differentiate from our competition and position Guidant as an industry thought leader.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Build more efficient, repeatable approaches for content and delivery by channel.
2. Shape content into different forms for different channels, from blogs and social promotion to infographics and eBooks and emails.
3. Reporting on top content (blogs, downloads, etc.) and championing content to push low cost leads
4. Stay fluent and current on fintech business concepts and trends
5. Manage website content
6. Plan and execute content strategies for product launches and events
7. Manage the content pipeline from ideas to placement
8. Adapt content for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
9. Work with freelance writers as an extension of the marketing team
10. Monitor content metrics to continuously improve content quality, targeting and placement
11. Nice to have - passion for ghost writing for key executives and working with PR lead to manage communications campaigns
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Candidate must have 1-3 years experience in writing and content placement
2. Must demonstrate writing prowess through examples of their own work
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Proficient in broad variety of communication channels and marketing tools (marketing software, email marketing software, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
5. Aptitude in data management, analytics, and report preparation
6. Ability to function in an autonomous environment - independent worker, self-directed
7. CMS, SEO and website architecture experience preferred
