MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The SEAA CMI Assistant Manager will play an instrumental role in supporting the Cluster's Senior CMI Manager to ensure that the voice of the operators is brought into our business decisions. He/She will be expected to fully leverage the power of existing information into effective business action both for the local MCO strategic understanding program as well as provide input into their assigned cluster organization.
There are two critical sub-scopes of this role:
a. Identifying market, category, and operator insights to develop the Category Strategy of Dressing & Tea in SEAA
b. Uncovering Operator Group insights in online & offline to enable Digital Transformation and market development in SEAA MCO
JOB SUMMARY
Analyse and diagnose the business to identify critical questions and knowledge gaps
Develop CMI learning plan and recommend optimal research methods and plans to close the knowledge gaps
Lead research projects and partner effectively with research agencies
Able to design and conduct essential qualitative and quantitative studies independently
Able to analyze results, and communicate key findings comprehensively and sharply in executive summaries
Able to transform findings into powerful and actionable recommendations (CMI POV)
Lead research debrief and discussions with key stakeholders, and effectively influence business decision makings
Integrate and consolidate multiple sets of quantitative and qualitative learning to create more impactful insight solutions
Design and facilitate insight and strategy co-creation workshops with internal business partners and external consumers/operators
The successful candidate must be willing to work independently and forge relationships on own initiative. As part of a cluster team, with individuals based in other locations, you must be confident in working independently.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years work experience in market research, CMI or marketing
Experience in FMCG business; Experience in Food & Beverage related categories are preferred
Experience in Digital marketing and eCommerce related projects are preferred
Passion for uncovering human truth
Proactively initiate and lead
Strategic thinking and effective influencing
Integrative thinking, strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills, charismatic presenter
Solid business written skills (English)
Comprehensive understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques
Effective project management, disciplined and puncture
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and perform under high pressure
Prefer to have experience in 'big data'
Prefer to possess passion for food and sustainability
