Job Description:
This role will lead AML and Regulatory compliance assurance and directly report to the Regulatory Compliance Lead.
Will assist the Regulatory compliance officer on governance and processing leg work to ensure that related regulatory laws, rules, and regulations are captured and implemented by the organization.
Will monitor regulatory publication from BSP, AMLC, and SEC, as applicable, and prepare risk assessment on actionable components of published regulations prior cascade to appropriate stakeholders for implementation and entry to the regulatory inventory matrix.
Monitors implementation by the 1st Line of Defense units through performance of monitoring validation exercise to ensure appropriate steps have been taken by the 1LoD, a valuable risk mitigation exercise prior Internal or External audits.
Will perform Compliance Testing, one of the requirements of the Compliance Office under the Compliance Risk Management Framework
And any other tasks to be assigned by the CCO.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or any related course
At least 3 years relevant work experience ingeneral compliance and compliance testing
Work experience from banking, logistics or e-commerce
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Ability to interact and build strong working relationships with stakeholders
Strong business acumen and creative thinker to be able to solve business problems
Self-starter, good team player and can work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills both spoken and written and excellent data story teller
CPA/CRA designation is a plus
