About Our Client
The client is the leading Insurance firm in the Philippines.
Job Description
Serve as advisory and provide training when it comes to compliance with law, regulation, and internal standards
Report the Annual Compliance Plan to Regional Compliance & Governance forums
Spearhead the Compliance Monitoring program covering all relevant areas of business report on results to the senior management and the Audit Committee.
Remain updated on the regulatory landscape to reflect any changes to existing systems, procedures, instructions, and practices
Work with the product team and management to ensure that products and business initiatives are compliant to regulation and internal policy
Nurture strong relationships with the Company's management team
Lead, supervise, and develop the firm's Compliance team
Serve as the firm's primary POC for regulators
The Successful Applicant
Seasoned Compliance talent with experience in regulatory, AML, and Privacy regulation in the PH
At least 12 years of relevant experience - insurance highly preferred over other FS industry experience
Experience in drafting policies and standards
must be able to handle complex compliance issues without supervision ability to handle legal issues would be an advantage
Knowledgeable on life insurance operations and products
