With a waitlist growing by the day, Athena has already showcased compelling demand. The Compensation & Benefits Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of remuneration, benefits and well-being programs across Athena's global organization.
High-Level Responsibilities
Strategy: Maintain Athena's competitive positioning in the job market by designing, building, and implementing the overall Compensation and Benefits processes and policies supporting the overall business strategy.
Promotion of Best Practices: Establish best practices to attract high-quality talent and reduce turnover. Champion and promote fair, equitable, competitive, and non-discriminatory compensation practices consistent to the overall philosophy of the organization.
Engagement and Retention: Lead and support projects and activities that seek to enhance satisfaction. Drive initiatives that attract top talents, engage, motivate, and retain Athena's workforce.
Data Management: Administer and maintain data management of compensation information, actively participate in any initiative efforts on process improvements, and provide advice, training and support relating to pay decisions to all stakeholders.
Specific Responsibilities
Understand business goals as well as scope and responsibilities of all roles in Athena
Demonstrate knowledge about Athena service - transformative delegation industry
Develop guidelines and frameworks for market-competitive Comp and Ben programs and initiatives that meet employee needs, and ensure implemented standards and recommendations are lawful and aligned with the company's global strategy and direction
Set up and maintain compensation structures, determined by location, job grade and levels, experience, qualifications, performance, and talent availability in the market
Design essential processes and procedures, standardize implementation of programs and projects and enhance systems for operational efficiency
Serve as a subject matter expert and conducting data gathering and analysis of global compensation needs and local markets
Forecast, plan and allocate people strategy budget
Research best practices, monitor legal documents, and evaluate emerging trends for benchmark comparisons
Administer and monitor availment of benefits
Participate in manpower planning for cost projection and containment
Conduct job evaluation, annual salary and benefits reviews and Comp and Ben surveys to measure effectiveness of Recognition and Rewards program
Monitor and review market data for incentive targets and salary adjustment recommendations
Initiate welfare programs and employee well-being benefits
About You
You are a confident and experienced Rewards and Benefits Leader.
You have ideally 8 years of managing, leading and implementing fair and attractive Compensation and Benefits plans in a multinational organization.
You have hands-on experience that can help you in the job.
You can do the planning as well as the execution of compensation, rewards, and benefits programs. You have system implementation experience with Employee Satisfaction Systems, Job Evaluation, Compensation, Payroll and Human Resources software.
You are analytical.
You are highly proficient in data management, reporting and analysis. You don't shy away from a whole spreadsheet of numerical data.
You have excellent communication and comprehension skills.
You have good command of the English language, both written and spoken, and above average comprehension. You have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and have a successful track record in stakeholder engagement.
You are good with market research.
You have extensive experience in market research, especially with compensation and benefits trends in the market and of our competitors.
You are tech-savvy.
You are well-versed in the latest technologies and savvy about systems and tools (Google Sheets, Google slides, HR Management Systems, etc.). You are used to automated processes.
