About the Role
We are looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to start immediately.
This is an internal role and youll be reporting directly to the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of compensation and benefits policies, process and workflows;
Assist in handling claims, enrollments, cancellations with the HMO provider;
Facilitate and conduct annual physical examination;
Act as a liaison between employees and government benefit providers - SSS/PhilHealth/PAGIBIG etc.)
Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS system and with government agencies (SSS/PhilHealth and PAGIBIG);
Assist in resolving tickets relating to payroll reports such as disputes, deductions and any salary adjustments;
Advise and inform employees to any changes and developments related to benefits such as eligibility, coverage and provisions;
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys on a regular basis and use data to improvise and implement policies;
Conduct salary and labor market research to ensure company remains competitive in the labor market;
To ensure that the compensation package is in compliance with the current laws and regulations;
Prepares various reports as required but not limited to status and accomplishment reports.
Requirements
2+ years of work experience as compensation and benefits specialist catering for >300 employees;
Bachelors degree in Human Resource or Nursing or equivalent or any related work experience;
Ability to manage confidential information;
Confident and articulate communicator in written and verbal English;
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Suite;
Experience as a virtual assistant working with Australian or US clients is preferred but not essential;
Analytical mind with strong time-management skills, with ability to adapt to new ways of working in a fast-paced environment;
Highly motivated, self-starter and confident;
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
Impeccable attention to detail, problem solving ability and initiative driven;
High sense of urgency and speed of delivery, without compromising on quality; and
A fascination with balustrades and sheet metal work will be great!
