WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Supports Rewards Manager set basic compensation and benefits policies and manage JTI's compensation and rewards program as the organization manages its personnel expenses, internal equity, and external competitiveness.
Leads in the review of and provides recommendations on introduction/revision/cancellation of compensation and benefits policies.
Monitors the job market, the modern trends in the compensation and finds the best practice for the implementation in the organization without the major impact on the personnel expenses costs.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compensation
Assesses the organization's pay structure
Researches compensation trends and reviews compensation surveys
Evaluates compensation policies
Ensures pay practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations
Benefits
Administers organization's benefits programs (e.g., retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, insurance policies, etc.)
Researches and analyzes benefits plans, programs, and policies
Prepares recommendations based on data analyses
Monitors government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends
Works with insurance brokers and benefits careers
Manages the enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes
Job Analysis
Writes and revises job descriptions
Determines position classifications
Prepares and updates salary scales
Prepares recommendations to managers regarding job descriptions, salaries, and classifications
Coordinates compensation processes like salary planning, bonus planning, and incentive schemes development.
Recommends exceptions and solutions to the escalation in the compensation of the individual employees for approval of Rewards Manager.
Works closely with Compensation and Benefits Specialists, P&C Business Support Team and HRBPs, to resolve C&B-related concerns, support decisions, and provide evidence for discussions within P&C.
Support Rewards Manager in training HR Business Partners and line managers in the compensation areas (salary analysis, job evaluation, pay-mix training, other compensation processes)
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Human Resource, Human Science or equivalent
4 to 5 years of experience in the Compensation and Benefits Operations area
Experience handling a team of 2 to 3 specialists
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Strong and proven analytical skills
Excellent MS Office skills (Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
Networking and Influencing skills
Strong Negotiation skill
