General Description: The Cloud Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining cloud computing systems. The bulk of the work involves assessing systems to identify potential weaknesses or problems, determine when something isn't working, as well as take steps to correct the problem. They upgrade software and hardware systems in order to ensure optimal performance and prevent system issues. They may also provide technical support to customers who are having issues with the system.
Salary: Starts at Php 25,000 / month
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Responsibilities:
Provide support in troubleshooting concerns brought up by current clients.
Assist with preventive maintenance of current servers.
Assist with the setup and migration of clients.
Contribute to the improvement of the current infrastructure.
Requirements:
BS Graduate in any Technology related course (Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science)
Must have good English communication skills
Work experience with servers is an advantage
Knowledge of servers, networks, client-server systems, and firewalls
AWS or VM ware or Nutanix certified is a plus
Customer Service experience is a plus
Must be willing to report in our Cebu IT Park office
