Position Overview:
The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and managerial oversight of all clinical staff within the Company. The Clinical Manager is responsible for building effective relationships and supporting corporate and departmental initiatives. The Clinical Operations Manager will focus on maximizing the quality and efficiency of daily practice functions while overseeing, planning, directing and coordinating various aspects in the clinical practice. The Clinical Operations Manager is also responsible for recruiting, training, and supervision of staff members in addition to creating work schedules, developing goals and objectives, and maintaining records of clinical services provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
Be the clinical expertise of the operations teams
Improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations workflow.
Plans and oversees the implementation of operational clinical staff policies and procedures.
Develops and implements process improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Participation in recruitment, performance counseling, clinical competencies & performance evaluations.
Determines appropriate training needs to ensure compliance with established business requirements.
Bridge clinical informatics and operations sides of the business.
Help ensure data quality is high (from accuracy to consistency to completeness).
Work with company leadership to set goals, develop plans, and execute quickly.
Define, develop, and execute various projects that tackle operational problems.
Continuously improve clinical informatics operations by leveraging data and insights.
Develop creative solutions to problems that may not have immediate technology solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
3+ years of relevant experience in health administration, nursing, business administration, or health management is required.
Two+ years of supervisory experience in a Call Center environment
Clinical experience and interaction with medical records preferred
Operations, project management, and process development experience
Strong verbal and written communication - English
Strong analytical skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong computer skills and comfortable with technology
Handle ambiguity well
Salary range 45k- 60k
