Brief Description:
Candidates will be focused on providing great service to optimize the way that clients use their software solutions. Ideal candidates should be able to work closely with their team members to share knowledge and information regarding the clients as the product is a highly customizable application which is a fun and challenging task. This is a continuously growing team with multiple senior resources
not only within the support group but also with other departments.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Okay with ambiguity, or technical aptitude / experience
 Experience with Linux and RestAPI
 Background in customer service
 Strong critical thinking skills
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
 Can attend to client's need/inquiries via phone, chat, or Email.
 Tech-Support background/tech troubleshooting.
 Good English communication skills. Can communicate clearly.
 Could be someone with Linux background but not required.
 Can work under pressure. Can be resourceful even with limited tools.
 Great in problem-solving or situational questions. Excellent analytical skills.
 Self-Starter/Takes Initiative - Straight forward, but a strong support rep will go out
of their way to watch the other cases that come into the queue and review them
when they're closed, learning how something was resolved and will ask questions
about it to better strengthen their own product knowledge.
 Curious Nature - Wants to understand why a solution worked for the situation. Looks to fully understand the ins/outs so they can apply the knowledge. Not simply looking to memorize issue-resolution, but rather issue-background-details-resolution.
 Effective problem-solving - Understands that solutions aren't always found by
following A to B to C to find Resolution D. Sometimes C doesn't exist but instead, E
is present so the solution isn't Resolution D, but instead F or G. Meaning that support
cases aren't always straight forward and understanding context and looking at the
larger picture is crucial.
 Deals well with ambiguity - Not everything in Tamale is black and white and the
unique challenges of the product can mean we shift scope and responsibilities can
change between the teams.
 Communication - Since our group interacts closely with the other departments
(PS/AM, IS, PD) and our product integrates backend and front end areas for support,
it's crucial that reps are able to clearly articulate situations and be clear when asking
for assistance.
 Comfortable Asking for Help - When a rep needs help, they need to be able to
ask. No one on the team will tell them to figure it out themselves or not assist.
Depending on their experience level and how long they've been on the team, we may
practice a little "tough love" and point them in the right direction if we know resources
exist for their situation (previous SF cases, KB documentation, etc.); however, should
a rep feels lost, the team is here to help and will do so.
 Good with working on holidays, graveyard hours, and open for schedule swapping.
 No issues with traveling to and from the office.
