The Client Development Manager is responsible for achieving sales plan objectives and driving growth thru acquiring country new businesses by effectively selling Connected Freight' products and services. The Client Development Manager is responsible for identifying and supporting opportunities to grow business by acquiring new customers, lanes and products and also driving continuous improvement and optimization to retain business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Client Sourcing and Development
Creates sales goals to aid in achieving targets
Undertakes telemarketing and provides sales leads to build a pipeline of businesses
Visits agreed number of existing and prospective clients. For this purpose, the Client Development Manager is responsible in preparing action plan, presentation, and research analysis for any prospective/potential/feasible clients.
Sells total products and services of the company by way of securing and developing the market.
Prepares, reviews, and negotiates service quotations to clients depending upon client's needs and requirements and thereafter secure confirmation for purposes of closing sale.
Attains and sustains achieving the MONTHLY REQUIRED sales target
Prepares and submits production report to the management every week (Monday).
2. Account and Client Management
Supervises shipments until completion of delivery to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Maintains, retains and engages close business relationship with existing clients, suppliers and potential customers.
Attends to sales call and fieldwork (provided that the Client Development Manager's itinerary and Official Business (OB) Pass should be secured first his/her your immediate superior before going out for sales call)
3. Market research and Presentation
Carries out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization
Prepares updated market competition report, as well as sales and marketing plan for targeted clients.
4. Other tasks which may be as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing/Logistics or equivalent.
2 years of solid working experience from supply chain, logistics, domestic freight forwarding, and transportation companies
2 years of overall industry experience
2 years of experience in Sales and Account Management
Should have a maintained customer database. Candidates with existing client base will be an advantage.
Knowledgeable in domestic freight forwarding, transportation/distribution operations
Knowledgeable in CRM applications such as Salesforce, SugarCRM, Zoho, or Hubspot
Applicants who has personal car to use for fieldwork will be prioritized.
