Main Responsibilities:
Provide a high level of technical sufficiency within the Civil / Structural Engineering Section, including the identification and promotion of innovative, safe and practical design solutions
Calculate loads and stresses the construction will have to safely withstand by factoring the different qualities and strengths delivered by a range of building materials, and understand how to incorporate support beams, columns and foundations
Assume technical and administrative responsibility for the preparation of plans, estimates, assessments and design work, tender invitation and tender assessments
Help in reviewing and updating technical standards, office procedures, construction techniques, and use of materials to ensure that specifications and schemes prepared by the team reflect best practices with continuous improvement
Liaise with and provide advice on technical matters related to the company's projects
Check actual site conditions and foundations and ensure the final design incorporates this information
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
Required languages: English, Filipino
At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Required Skills: Structural and Civil Works, Philippine Building Code Standards, National Structural Code, Plumbing and Water Design, Project Management, Civil Structural Details and Drawings, Technical Reports, Communication, STAAD, AutoCAD, Steel Rolling Mill - advantage
Preferably Officer/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
Able to travel and be deployed to the plants whenever necessary
