The QS Lead - Civil is responsible in monitoring, managing, and delivering cost proposals under the trades of Civil, Architecture, and Plumbing for upcoming projects of NCI.
Responsibilities: * Takes-off quantities and defines the list of materials needed to build the installations. Generates purchase requests accordingly. Evaluates technically - financially the offers received from the Procurement team and provides technical advice prior purchase.
Conducts visits to building sites to monitor the consumption of materials in close coordination with the PM. Proceeds to on-site take-off whenever required. Surveys existing installations/sites and provides a report (Site Assessment Report).
Produces BOM/BOQ with bare cost as per company database and reports to QS Manager
May perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
College Degree (preferably in the field of Engineering or Architecture); Licensed Engineer or Architecture an advantage
3-5 years of relevant experience
A sound knowledge on interior fit-out project implementation
Knowledgeable with technical design and implementation for Civil, Architectural, and Plumbing
Able to delegate tasks to team members and communicate with them; plus, able to train employees
Willingness to travel (local and international)
