Job Summary
The Civil Engineer (Technical Support) performs tasks related to research and development and investigation and resolution of issues for various construction projects (building, jetty or marine, geotechnical structures and other technical related activities of the company.
Job Qualifications
- Registered Civil Engineer
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Knowledgeable in standards or codes used in construction project for bidding in the Philippines
- With good research, communication and technical writing skills
- 4 years of experience in the field of construction
Job Responsibilities
- Assists in reviewing compliance of technical proposals based on client requirements, governing applicable codes and standards of practice
- Provides report on evaluation of technical risks in projects for bidding
- Assists in proposing potential modern innovative technical improvements to project planning, execution and monitoring
- Prepares research evidence-based analysis reports with recommended actions for investigation request from site for ongoing projects
- Conducts facility condition assessment to existing structures to check structural integrity status and propose repair or retrofitting measures
- Assists in reviewing design drawings and specifications based on the client requirements
- Assists in the preparation of technical bid documents
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor
