Job Description:
Experience
· Must be able to analyze complex and ambiguous issues to recommend creative solutions
· Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment with an emphasis on risk mitigation and efficiency
· Ability to synthesize information to formulate a concise message for Management
· Interpersonal skills including ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment with stakeholders and peers
· 3+ years of prior experience in financial services industry, preferably in operations. Management experience a plus.
· Demonstrable track record of improving processes, meeting goals, and handling competing priorities with diverse stakeholders.
· High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office products' (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
· Data and analytical experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) required.
· Familiarity with automation, data analysis, and data visualization tools a plus (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, etc.)
· Escheatments experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the process of reporting and remitting abandoned property across various lines of business and product types
· Act as an intermediary between multiple internal and external stakeholders, responsible for fostering critical relationships
· Under tight, regulatory driven deadlines, coordinate the large-scale remittance of various product types to multiple states.
· Utilize proprietary and industry data management tools to identify automation opportunities
· Take on challenging projects, promote process streamlining, and cultivate career development of direct and matrix reports.
· Ability to obtain or successfully transfer the SIE and Series 99 within 180 of days of hire date.
