Our US-based client -- a leading provider of managed physical medicine in the United States -- has set up a Philippine operations center in Mandaluyong earlier this year. They are continuously expanding their services, and are looking to add an experienced Accounting to their new team!
The Cash Posting Specialist is responsible for extraction, reconciliation, and compilation of information from payment batches into appropriate internal reports and spreadsheets.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently apply cash receipts to patient accounts in the posting system by date of deposit
Reconcile each payment batch to confirm complete, accurate, and balanced data both in the posting system and internal reports/spreadsheets
Adhere to workflow processes, policies, and procedures for payment posting
Maintain productivity goals and standards, and ensure all department rules and processes are followed, while maintaining the expected level of quality set by the department.
Provide support as needed in the Accounting Department.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor's or Associate's degree (preferably in Accounting or related field)
Prior experience in data entry and bookkeeping is a plus
Payment posting for a local or US-based insurance company is an advantage
Detail oriented and excellent organizational/documentation skills.
Data Entry Skills
10-key adding machine skills with a minimum keystrokes per hour of 8,000 or above
Ability to utilize software in a Windows environment.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy
Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
Works well as a team member.
Willing to work on-site
Willing to work in Mandaluyong
