Designated point person and accountable for applying the payments to the customer accounts, accurately and timely . Take the lead in identifying and resolving exception transactions and prepare or assist in corrections to resolve all errors and exceptions. . Responds to customer's payment inquiries through prompt analysis and resolution . Posting of daily cash receipts. . Resolve internal and external customer account inquiries regarding cash applications. . Place phone calls to banks, customers to determine reason for deductions when they are not stated. . Account reconciliation . Assume supervisory function during planned and unplanned absences of the Supervisor . Distribute unapplied cash documentation/ items to collectors . Identify over/underpayments and forward /distribute to appropriate collector. . Work with Manager for daily/weekly/monthly AR Reconciliation to ensure an accurate month-end close. . Research historical cash application activity when needed. . Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with the team and other departments . Provides guidance and direction to Intermediate team members to assist in providing pertinent documents and reports needed in resolving variances and answering complex inquiries . Provide decisions/solutions to issues, routine and non-routine Job Requirements: . Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. . Proficient with MS Office, SAP. Oracle. NetSuite . At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. . Experience in B2B collections is preferred . Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. . Highly organized, with good attention to detail and follow up. . Preferably with analytics background, but not requireds
