In the current external candidate market, we face unprecedented competition for talent. Highly skilled diverse talent is in short supply and demand is high in every global territory. To operate better in these market conditions, we need to build out our LSEG Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and create bespoke value propositions to specifically attract the talent required by our business.
This role will be accountable for leading the evolution of our LSEG external careers site and employment brand profile on critical global & local digital/ social channels. Responsible for leveraging our employment brand to profile our company and opportunities online and via key digital channels to increase attraction of target talent.
Accountable for ensuring our LSEG external careers site is optimised to attract, engage and retain the target talent required during this phase of high demand and competitive talent market. A key ambition is to directly connect with and attract target talent and both significantly reduce our reliance on 3rd party agencies globally and increase diversity at shortlist stage.
This role sits within a team of 5 Employment Brand and Attraction Channel leads, focused on understanding critical hiring needs in order to deliver the strategy, plans and execution of our employer brand and attraction channels to deliver the talent required by our business.
Key responsibilities:
Develop the strategy of our employer brand and attraction channels to deliver the talent required by our business via the LSEG external careers site and other social channels.
Proactively manage and sustain our brand profile externally in key markets on critical digital channels to ensure we are, and continue to be, an attractive employer to target talent.
Create targeted campaigns which are aligned to the overarching EVP yet speak directly to the local talent required in country and by discipline.
Create 'on-brand' candidate-facing communications, collateral, social media and interactive content which convey our LSEG culture and employee experience.
Understand LSEG organisational needs to create bespoke value propositions to ensure an 'always on' approach to brand attraction and channel management.
Social media content generation created in line with global TA objectives.
Managing key social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Creation and management of a social calendar to target specific talent required within our critical hiring areas.
Undertake employer brand research to better understand how LSEG is perceived in different countries by different target talent via different social and digital channels.
Ownership of attraction channel efficiency - using insight to ensure we are upper quartile in our priority markets for target talent.
Accountable for the LSEG external careers site - ensuring all content is authentic, peer-led and showcases diversity and inclusion, fully involving colleagues within our brand and marketing teams.
Responsible for our digital channels presence - organic and paid social and continue with fully harmonise existing channels.
Make data-driven recommendations on targeting talent through various attraction channels.
Track and analyse the effectiveness of different brand campaigns to ensure continuous improvements are identified and acted upon.
Skills, knowledge and capabilities required:
Cross-country, cross-functional collaboration experience and ability to manage stakeholders at all levels in a fast-moving environment.
Experienced in positioning companies as great places to work in order to attract, engage, and hire the most suitably skilled and diverse candidates.
Strong digital marketing experience and high degree of digital/ social media literacy.
Demonstrable experience of reflecting EVPs and target value propositions globally via social channels and across external career sites.
Expertise in understanding how to sell a global company as an employer of choice throughout different countries and within diverse talent groups.
Proven ability to meet rapidly changing business requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, organisational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Extensive knowledge of social media communication techniques and experience in managing website content.
Experience with optimising and engaging via social channels for talent attraction & engagement e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Twitter.
Excellent leadership and negotiating skills and ability to influence and implement change
Ability to interact professionally with all organisational levels and globally.
Ability to independently manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
