Department Overview
The Corporate Services team supports the offshoring activities of multiple lines of business and the corporate risk management organization with their needs in current and expected demand for business process risk management.
(Also known internally as Business Support Consultant 1)
Responsibilities
Consultation with Manager with the following:
Discuss role and job description with Manager
Understand the positioning of the role in the business (for example generalist roles - Business Initiative Consultant in Risk, Compliance, HR, Asset Management, Operations etc.)
Be able to speak with the supplier and describe the requirements of the role and get a market rate
Provide instruction to the Manila team on what suppliers the role should be released to
Be the point of contact for any supplier ownership disputes - where more than one supplier will submit the same candidate - provide steer and a decision
Engage with managers and push back where managers are speaking to suppliers outside of CRS (not using the tool) as some managers will continue to do this and will expect a resource to start with no transaction in the tool
Review of rate and establish if we are priced too low if CV's/Resumes are not forthcoming or not within rate band
Speak with suppliers on weekly reviews and check if suppliers looking in wrong places (e.g. financial candidates will be more expensive - inform them to look at software companies)
Answer questions on Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality agreements and any privacy requirements that might arise
Develop market information - how the market is doing - certain roles that may have been made redundant which will in turn help with rate negotiation
Dealing with Senior leaders requests - James has had calls with senior audit directors in the US to talk through the process, executive requests - 3 requests for the CEO in EMEA
Be the point of contact for any of Day's team escalations
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (4-year course) from any field.
3 years of relevant experience leading a team in talent acquisition, supply chain management and vendor management. At least 3 years of supervisory and people management experience in a contact center environment
Experience with VMS Tool and contingent resource management (onboarding and off boarding)
Excellent English communication skills and customer service skills
Amenable to work on shifting schedules including night shift
Amenable to work in McKinley hill, Taguig
