POSITION TARGET
Rate Maintenance is centralized structure process for all published rates that procured by the "Central Ocean Procurement Team" (COPT) that are being uploaded and maintained for both FCL/LCL buying/selling rates for ocean main legs, haulage and side charges into one rate management tool, GPM system.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily monitoring of Cherwell system for tickets raised by trade lane managers
Identify and updates changes in contract rates by comparing new and old contracts
Update GPM system accurately with new/revised carrier rates
Generates and/or consolidates operational reports related to carrier rates.
Responds to queries, requests and escalate operational concerns to superior
Maintains and records new tradelane and changes in the rates
Performs operational requirements tasks and adhoc reports.
Report irregularities as per SOP and Global KPI. And perform proper escalation when necessary.
Promotes and initiates proces improvement, active participation on projects that may lead to proces efficiencies
Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company's intellectual property protection.
Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values.
Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.
Team Player and flexible in shifts as required by the business
EDUCATION & SKILLS
College of any four year course
Basic knowledge in MS Office / MS Teams
Basic knowledge in web based applications / Internet
Freight forwarding / Logistics experience is an advantage but not required
Quick comprehension, good analytical skills and focused at work
Team player and good interpersonal skills
Intermediate excel skills is required
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Atleast 2 years work experience in similar field
Work experience in a shared service center environment / forwarding / transportation & logistics is an advantage
