Responsibilities
Overview:
Coordination and development of the team, Non- Finance team, understand and drive operations excellence, process improvements within Non- Finance areas.
Complement people management responsibilities with leading of complex optimization projects, moderation of process workshops, coaching and training on LSS methodology
Responsibilities:
Coordination and development of the non-finance process management team
First Point of escalation for Operations, local countries in terms of E2E process issues;
Understand and drive operations excellence, process improvements within non-Finance Operations of SGBS Bucharest by means of LSS, DMAIC and business process excellence
Ensures that processes offer streamlined delivery capabilities, and high levels of service in liaison with Service Delivery Heads, Head of PMI and GPMI;
Ensure process issues in SGBS are resolved or escalated for non- Finance Processes (not SPOC for operational issues)
Establish a value-driven and consistent culture in team that is metrics driven, outcome-focused, process-based, service-oriented and focused on continuous improvement and is in line with overall GPMI and DB Schenker culture;
Advise on prioritization of improvements ideas for non- Finance Processes and cooperate with PMI, SDHs and GPMI;
Act as a liaison so that the local countries business expectations for results delivery are met;
Closely collaborate with representatives from SSC Manila to ensure streamlined processes and project approaches;
Participate in and conduct projects in line with the LSS methodology, prepare and facilitate LSS workshops with country participation;
Prepare management reports related to ongoing activities within the team;
Conduct the MPP with employees;
Assure that a proper communication exists with regards to process changes to Operations Managers and GPOs
Manage team performance, drive reviews, identify gaps, receive feedback and address required measures;
Seek feedback from business and ensure quality is provided throughout the entire E2E process chain of SGBS;
Work in line with given processes and organizations (GPO approvals, global alignment);
Monitor KPIs based on the existing KPI framework, identify trends against target, track volumes vs FTE
Take early, proactive action when required.
Set up and lead root cause problem solving sessions with relevant stakeholders workshops to help determine root causes for process issues if necessary;
Identify opportunities for standardization and improvement, assess impact and reach and align accordingly with the big picture in mind. Involve PMI, Operations and countries where necessary. Receive updates on ongoing projects with an effect on his/her respective area;

Qualifications
5 years of experience in Process Management/improvement; Ideally, experience in Logistics area, Finance area,
Previous experience in a successful leadership function, preferably in shared services organization or delivery leadership in an outsourcing company;
Very good process understanding and end-to-end process knowledge;
Proven track record in applying LSS methodologies in projects and workshops and at least Green Belt Certification; Black Belt Certification as a plus
Excellent English language skills at C level, German would be a plus
Excellent MS Office skills;
Experience in data analysis tools;
Experience of working with SAP or similar tools is a plus;
Strong stakeholder management to build relationships and manage large teams and complex stakeholders' groups across Operations;
Leadership and influencing skills;
Excellent time and stress management
Project management experience;
Experience building cross-functional relationships;
Customer and quality focused;
Structured way of working, ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment;
Strong intercultural skills and experience in working in a multinational environment;
