Due to our success in delivering quality outcomes for our clients, our company is experiencing tremendous growth and we're looking for a business intelligence consultant to assist with designing, implementing and supporting data lake storage and/or operational data stores; data warehouse and data marts in the dimensional model form.
This enriching role covers both technical and non-technical aspects of data warehousing allowing the consultant to apply their trade on every level of the solution.
On the non-technical aspect of the role, the applicant must have commercial experience in liaising with senior business stakeholders translating requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models. Domain knowledge in health, retail and online services sector is highly advantageous.
For the technical aspect of the role, the applicant will need to display confidence and experience in working on traditional data warehouse implementations across the Microsoft BI technologies like Azure SQL Database, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services among other Azure Cloud services as well as well-established on-premises technologies such as SQL Server 2016+, SSIS, SSAS (Tabular) and SSRS.
The applicant must have experience developing full-stack business intelligence solutions, including, developing and implementing data warehouse/data-marts with Kimball's Dimensional Model approach, data integration (ETL/ELT) with SSIS and Azure Data Factory, build and optimise SSAS tabular models, create and modify operational reports in SSRS and Power BI.
This role is 50% technical support and 50% project work.

You must have the following technical experience;
3+ years commercial experience analysis and developing data warehouse models (dimensional model), including, data profiling and data analysis.
3+ years commercial experience with SQL Server (querying, stored procedure, views, etc...)
3+ years commercial experience in SSIS and 1+ in Azure Data Factory
3+ years hands-on commercial experience in SSAS (tabular, DAX)
2+ years hands-on Power BI
.NET (C#), PowerShell is an advantage

Important details
Salary is paid on the 15th of every month to your nominated bank account.
It is your sole responsibility to submit and pay the relevant taxes in your country of residence.
Your monthly remuneration package includes an allowance for medical insurance. It is your responsibility to procure and financially maintain your medical insurance.
General hours of business are between 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Time (GMT +10/+11). It is expected that you will work an average of 45 hours per week during general business hours. From time to time you may be required to work reasonable additional hours or after hours when necessary to perform your duties.
