As a Business Development Representative, you will work closely with the Account Executives and our Marketing team to carry out the game plan for small and medium businesses and enterprises/corporations accounts. Your job will be to make the initial contact, educate the customer on our capabilities, and get them excited about our solution with the final goal of arranging qualified meetings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling Initial Prospecting Meetings for the Sales Team (Demos)
Promoting business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails and communication(s) to prospective clients
Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 50 calls / 30 emails per day
Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in Hubspot
Providing in depth information to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos
Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through web and database research
Working together with the VP of Sales and Marketing to grow a specific sales territory to support the acquisition of new accounts in the region
Work with lead generation funnels and automation technology to support high-velocity outbound marketing programs, leveraging prospect data and market insights
Support data teams with the ingestion, filtering, and allocation of prospect information
Communicate with prospects as part of a metric-driven sales qualification and advancement process
Mine and manipulate data to support marketing and various support activities
Train interns and other adjunct personnel across various functional areas as needed
Help as needed to build awareness on special projects / events
Provide actionable insights to the sales team and management
Contribute to the development of sales plans and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience in a similar role
A fearless approach to prospecting
Ability to thrive in a startup environment-moves quickly, think strategically, and is good at tactical execution
Passion for technology
Proven experience working for SaaS, Digital, or tech/software industry
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Work under pressure (high growth company)
Proven successful track record of crushing quotas
