Job Description
• Undertake sales activity to grow the customer base of the business.
• Responsible for the monthly Profit & Loss statement for Branch.
• Coaching, counselling and developing all subordinate staff.
• Carrying out measures as required to minimize theft and general wastage.
• Undertake monthly stocktakes.
• Work independently to achieve set targets and key performance indicators (KPI's).
• Must be prepared to be hands-on.
• Manage staff work hours / timesheets and leaves in accordance with PNG Government regulations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management; Computer Science/Information technology or similar fields.
• Experienced in all aspect of stores auditing.
• Experienced with store ordering, merchandising and stock turns
• Strong Information Technology (IT) skills with particular emphasis on knowledge of appropriate Point-of-Sale (POS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven track record of training and mentoring subordinate staff.
Extensive knowledge of retail and/or wholesale trading from an extensive background in the industry. Sales and marketing skills.
