We need to hire a Bookkeeper and Compliance Officer who will be responsible for providing invaluable support to the Accounting Department, while organizing and maintaining the books of accounts, assisting to preparing financial statements by generating summaries, and accomplishing tax compliances on time, under the direct control and supervision of the department's Head.
We are hiring one (1) individual for the position.
Responsibilities
Assist the Accounting Head by typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records.
Ensure proper and complete documentation and filing for easy retrieval of all accounting related documents.
Assist to prepare reports and summaries
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounting Department.
Computation of taxes and various compliances
Always equipped to represent the company values
Perform related work as required.
Education/Skills Requirements
Must be a college graduate of any accounting, finance, or computer science course
With at least two (2) years of experience working in accounting or finance.
Must have a results-oriented mindset.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and collaborative
Must be highly independent and organized
Must have keen attention to detail
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Proficient with the suite of Microsoft applications: Word and Excel, Teams
Proficient with the suite of Google workspace applications
Being a CPA is an advantage, but not a requirement
Accounting experience is a plus
Willing to work on-site, Manila City
ICON Reefer Cargo Movers operates with the following schedule:
Mondays 8:00AM to 7:00PM
Tuesdays to Fridays 8:00AM to 6:30PM
