Do you have experience in bookkeeping on Xero/MYOB for Australian Companies? Then we'd like to talk to you! We are an Accounting company with Clients in Australia who is looking for a confident and dynamic Accountant / Accounts Manager to join our team in a full time position. The ideal person will be a friendly and positive person, who has great written and verbal English communication skills. They will love to learn, and problem solve - they love being able to prioritise, manage challenges and enjoy finding ways to improve the way things are done. Being highly organised, adaptable and proactive - with strong attention to detail will mean you will love and thrive in this role.
Your Role
You'll be a team player - supporting the management team virtually, and working closely with your colleagues in Manila. You will be working with multiple companies, in different industries on the Xero accounting platform performing their day to day accounting and reporting functions. This is the perfect role for someone who likes variety in their day to day tasks (learning every day) - but is confident in establishing and following procedures, you must be able to meet targets and deadlines and be able to work unsupervised.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:·
Working on the accounts of multiple companies and business sectors in XERO and MYOB
Checking through each client on a regular basis, ensuring Accounts Payable, Receivable and Bank Reconciliations are kept to a high standard
Reporting & assessing figures to present to clients
Providing financial analysis
GST Compliance
BAS preparation
Preparing BIR Forms
Balance sheet reconciliations including Inter Company Loans
Cash Flow management understanding
Bookkeeping duties
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Bank reconciliation
Using other software that integrates with Xero
Payroll
Credit Card Reconciliation
Experience in Real Estate rental and leases would be advantageous
Microsoft Word and Excel intermediate
Experience required:
Bachelors / College Degree - Or previous experience in a similar position.
A minimum of 3 years Previous Experience.
