The billing & collection assistant reports directly to the property accountant.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate monthly billings to the unit owners/tenants.
Gathering of data from engineering for utility consumption.
Ensure that submitted direct deposits slips are tally with the amount credited with the bank.
Issuance of receipts and proper payment application in the official receipt.
Preparation of daily collection report (DCR) and daily submission to head office.
Ensure proper tagging of account titles (ex. dues, advances, electricity, water, etc.) used in DCR.
Preparation of collection's deposit slip to be deposited in bank.
Endorsement of demand letters for delinquent accounts.
Dealing with unit owners/tenant's' inquiries regarding billings and their payments.
Maintaining subsidiary ledger of all unit owners/tenants.
Other task that may be assigned from time to time.
