However this doesn't happen without some really awesome people making it happen! We are currently looking for a Billing Associate to be part of the Finance Team.
What you'll do:
Process payments for vendors and any other ad hoc payments promptly and accurately according to billing cycles
Ensures that all billing calculations are correct before sending billings to customer
Resolve daily AP related issues with internal and external stakeholders
Obtains billing approval from superiors
Explains bills to customers who have questions
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Reconcile discrepancies of billings from vendors vs billing tool
Proactively engage and collaborate with local & regional teams to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
Participate in further improvement and optimization of processes
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Analyzes all billing procedures and may recommend changes in billing processes
Respond to vendor inquiries in a polite and helpful manner
Participates in audits when necessary
Produces reports for management upon request or on a regular basis
Trains new employees in billing department who will handle DMart and educating billing staff on how to use tools properly
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree Accountancy or equivalent
Highly preferred with at least 1 - 2 years experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
Advanced excel skills
Experience in using accounting/ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
Analytical skills to resolve issues with third party
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
Effective planning, organizational, stress and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Can start immediately
