We are looking for highly motivated, result-oriented individuals for the following positions to be part of our growing team in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Work as an Accounts Payable Accountant
You will execute all activities as defined in the Service Level Agreement / Operational Level Agreement for Accounts Payable selected local companies. More specifically, you will:
Process PO and non-PO invoices in SAP
Execute and support closing activities (monthly, quarterly, year-end): process ICO, do GR/IR revaluation, prepare a list of items to accrue for with coding, etc.
Execute reconciliation of account balances
Check Service Now tickets on daily basis and solve the assigned tickets
Receive and respond to voice inquiries from the vendors
Manage incoming emails ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-friendly response
Support and provide all relevant data for KPI reporting and analysis (for instance double payment reporting)
GRIR G/L reconciliation, Open item clearing, and reporting
Support Internal/External Audit activities
Initiate and ensure timely bank outgoing payments (vendors)
Reconcile accounts Payable
Manage all the accounting transactions
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Support participation in migrations, support go-live preparation
Support to create, maintain and update process descriptions
Checks Critical vendor list on a monthly basis and ensures to book and pay on time - for instance, request missing invoices and follow-up until it is paid
Execute ad-hoc activities given by the Supervisor or Management
A stickler for deadlines and a team player with a zest for learning
You must have completed a bachelor's degree in Finance and/or accounting related studies
You must have at least 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role (resolving complex issues, subject matter expert, senior, or a specialist role in Accountants Payable)
You must have extensive Accounts Payable experience in another shared Service Centre
You can communicate results and consequences in a way that is easy to comprehend
You communicate well in both written and spoken Korean and English language
As a person, you are self-driven and proactive, able to take in more than one task at a time, drive them forward and still maintain a strong focus on quality and process. You are organized and analytical in your approach to challenges. Finally, you have a good business understanding and an open mind and enjoy teamwork and collaborating with many stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds.
