JOB SUMMARY:
Assists and provides suggestive improvement(s) and opportunities under the In Patient / Out Patient and coding program
To accurately assign ICD codes for diagnosis and procedures for all levels of care, with specific experience in HCC coding
Partnering and collaborative with Supervisors/Manages and external vendors to in providing and enhancing process recommendations, improvement and management
A key contributor and partner in the oversight of the coding operations for risk adjustment to ensure quality and productivity
Maintain and update internal coding guidelines
Assesses how the workflows affect related operations management, success measures, and identifies value-add opportunities
Conduct training sessions and job shadowing of vendor coding
Creating alignment between coding compliance and product development
Works closely with internal stakeholders on initiatives and/or opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of any Medical Allied Courses (Nursing, Pharma, Medtech)
CPC / CRC / CPC - A certification
Good communication skills and analytical skills
Strict focus on coding, education and quality assurance
Strong experience in roles that intersect both technology and operations (previous experience in IP/OP coding is required)
Basic skills in MS Office and Windows based programs
Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Willing to work in BGC Taguig in shifting schedules
