The Info Sec Prof Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential information security (IS) risks and make recommendations for enhancement
Collect and analyze security risk evidence and coordinate with internal and external compliance and auditing agencies / officials
Execute meetings and communicate complex security topics and safe IS practices with all levels of the organization
Ensure that controls are utilized daily and that non-compliance remediation is addressed
Provide IS consulting services, including interpreting and/or clarifying information security policy, procedures, standards or concepts
Assist with defining and implementing IS standards to align procedures and practices in compliance with Citi standards
Educate and advise on safe information security practices and current, changing, and/or recommended information security requirements
Validate compliance with IS policies, practices, and procedures, and resolve a variety of IS related issues in coordination with the business
Assume informal/formal mentorship role within teams and assist with the coaching and training of new team members
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Applicable Certifications or willingness to earn within 12 months of joining
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven influencing and relationship management skills
Proven analytical skills
Education:

The Global Information Security Utility is an integral part of the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) organization. We provide efficient and consistent IS services to IS Officers and other CISO groups to support Citi's IS program. The IS Utility will provide documented processes in order to follow up on, report on, and escalate information security issue resolution where repeatable services can be provided. The team will consist of staff that have an understanding of the IS programs and the actions required to complete them.
Candidates must be highly motivated, customer focused, prepared to be flexible and capable of working under pressure
The Information Security Senior Analyst will interface with business leaders around the world, auditors, and senior internal stakeholders to action and communicate daily oversight, escalations and exceptions. He / she will also help to continuously manage, review and improve the IS Utility's operational processes. This role provides opportunities to develop expert knowledge of Information Security, to work in a global team within a multinational company in cooperation with other IS/IT teams and business units.

Communicate with the respective parties, follow up, escalate issues, provide guidance to complete IS assessments, and reviews on time
Proactively manage changes in reporting scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Assess the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluates options under circumstances not covered by procedures
Drive process improvements including process redesign and tools enhancements. Regular communication and discussion with senior CISO partners to ensure that IS Utility processes addresses their needs as well as our internal objectives.
Project management - leading and coordinating new projects which are moved to the team
Lead meetings in fast paced environment communicating complex IS topics effectively at all levels of the organization
Conflict management and resolution
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in information security
Deep understanding of at least three key IS processes in Citi. E.g. Issue Management, ISRA, Data Protection, TPISA, VA, FIDs / Privileged IDs management
1-3 years' experience in project management or in business' reporting
IS certifications such as CISA, CISM and CISSP will be an advantage
Self-motivated, ability to work in a virtual team
Proven ability to drive the execution of processes and standard procedures, operational tracking and readiness to improve the end product, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skilled communicator who can influence solutions with Business partners.
Attention to details, strong organization and problem solving skills
Deploy superior data skills, which will include the competency to recognize trends and the cognizance to analyze results for reasonableness.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English is a must
