DTN currently has an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Software QA Automation Engineer in our Manila location. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software solutions. This includes creating test plans, test automation, and test execution and manual verifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing in a distributed application environment.
Your day to day:
Develop, apply and maintain automated scripts for the purpose of testing and or deployment
Follow established process for defect tracking and reporting, including logging defects in a detailed and reproducible way
Analyze test results in order to discover, document and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
Provide reporting and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
Develop, apply and maintain test strategies, test plans and test scripts
Estimate testing requirements for input into planning efforts
Communicate test estimate, test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
What you bring to the team:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
Minimum of 3-5 years of AWS automation experience
Knowledge in different AWS Services (SNS, SQS, Lambda, S3)
Experience in test automation (Batch, Powershell, Python), or have the ability to learn and excel in the use of an automated testing framework and develop automated tests.
Experience testing automating web service (REST and SOAP)
Experience testing in Agile Environment/Scrum
Must be self-directed and work independently with a high degree of initiative
Must have excellent written and communication skills including tact and diplomacy to maintain a cooperative relationship with development and business entities
