A Day In A Life Typically Includes:
(50%) Test Case Design, Planning and Development
Works with project teams and learns to ensure the quality of assigned applications.
Works with a content expert to execute test plans and to create test case(s) for complex projects.
Creates manual test or automated test cases based on design and requirements.
Documents test scripts in a common repository.
Participates in code reviews for test scripts within the test gro
(50%) Test Execution and Reporting
Executes manual and automated test cases and scripts and analyze the output to ensure functionality regression and new feature of the products during a release cycle.
Enters product failure issues into the problem tracking system.
Helps maintain the proper test environments, to include the installation of products under test and complimentary products.
Learns and uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional testing.
What you will need:
Software Testing for 4+ years
Automation, Functional, and Manual Testing
Design and creation of test plans
Creation of automated cases
Test automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver, HP UFT and the like
What will put you ahead:
Familiar with SQL and other OS (Linux or Windows)
Prior experience in AWS or Azure
Java programming experience is an advantage
