Calling all Licensed Allied Health Professionals in the BPO industry!
The Authorization Document Specialist creates and generates electronic forms requesting patient documents from physicians and insurances, as well as collect and manage patient eligibility documents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Call insurances to obtain patient coverage information
Verify patient benefits using web portals
Enter data accurately into multiple systems
Document collection and storage•Create documents such as prescriptions, certificates of medical necessity, letters of medical necessity, and prior authorizations
Contact doctor offices to collect prescriptions, certificates of medical necessity, letters of medical necessity, clinical notes, and lab results
Contact insurance companies to collect approved prior authorization request
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in allied health profession preferred (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.)
1-2 year clinical/hospital experience preferred
One year of medical insurance verification preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, working with dual screens, and general computer literacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills are essential
Demonstrated ability to accurately perform data entry and pay close attention to detail
Amenable to work in shifting schedule (fixed weekends off)

Salary package up to Php 25,000/month (depending on work experience
