About the role
The Payroll Specialist is to be responsible in assisting the Payroll Management in accurately and efficiently processing end-to-end payroll function nationally payroll, as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll reconciliations. Additionally, this key role will support in the following areas:
Assist with End-to-end processing of payroll
Assisting with the monthly preparation and lodgement of Superannuation reports, preparation and lodgement of payroll tax for multiple states
Liaise with all employees regarding payroll enquiries, resolving payroll discrepancies, concerns/queries in a timely manner
Support the completion of timely and accurate end of month reporting including development of ad hoc financial and operations reporting as needed
Invoicing with collection, calculation & data entry in order to maintain and update payroll information including annual award rate changes, as well as Award interpretation where required
About you:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a standalone payroll position working and preferably in fast paced growth organisations
Be able to interpret, understand and advise on payroll relevant legislation and awards
Enjoy working both independently and within a small team environment
High attention to detail with a strong desire for accuracy
Proficient in desktop computer applications (Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and Word) and accounting software packages
